This class was a blessing! I am so glad my friend told me about it. I only wish I’d known about it sooner! I think parents should start the program as soon as their kids can talk! - Karen D.

I’ve learned the value of family meetings with the whole family. It puts us all on the same page as far as expectations and weekly activities. Starting off the meeting with compliments for each family member is fun! I also love implementing the cell phone rules, taking away the addiction for a few hours each weekend is liberating for everyone and allows meaningful family time! - Megan L.
The most valuable thing I learned in this class to is to always respond with empathy. Too often I am disinterested in my children’s plight which doesn’t show love and promotes disrespect and non-compliance. By showing empathy, my children are willing to respond to my appropriately and respectfully. - Sarah W.

I loved learning about how to teach kids to solve their own problems, helping them become secure and confident by offering solutions to choose from. The chores or “contributions” discussion helped confirm how important it is for the family to be a team. – Anne J.

I can now prepare to teach my class knowing that most any challenging situation that comes up will be addressed in the best possible way. My students know the simple rules of Love and Logic for the classroom that Laurie gave me. I even have the students write about why these rules make sense and do a skit! Talk about practicing and teaching accountability! - Genevieve W.

Parenting the Love and Logic Way has provided me with tools and skills that help me stop and think before reacting/responding. Nothing fixes all problems, but having the workbook to pull out when needed is a really helpful reminder system. - Susan R.

This is a much better way to parent! I love replacing nagging and punishment with empathy and consequences. For my kids who are in 10, 13 and 17, I need all the help I can get! I appreciate the tools in creating a much calmer environment in my home, including getting chores and schoolwork done….when I ask the first time!!! - Mosudi F.
